Buying a house

    Hi folks . ive been looking at some houses in the roscommon ,leitrim area
    and quiet liked the look of the houses in Scahill Pk,ballinlough .
    could anyone tell me about these houses and why they differ in price so much?

    Well the low prices are due to the location.
    And the difference probably has something to do with the different finishes of the houses.
    Without seeing the houses, very difficult to say.

    6 doesn't appear to be available. It looks like it was auctioned and the lower price could be just to draw in bidders. One of the others had a note saying anything after 65 will sell. So they are all worth 65 no matter the finish. Pick the best one.

    That's pennies for a gaff, pennies.

    No employment and no demand would be some of the reasons. The houses themselves have been tidied up a lot recently. For years they were looking a bit run down.

    Walked past them a few weeks ago and they are all looking in good condition again.

    It is a nice enough area to live if a little / very quiet. Great lake nearby if you are into fishing. Some nice walks in the nearby forest. Close to two towns in Castlerea and Ballyhaunis.
