I have a Volvo lorry that needs a new clutch.
I've been told by mechanic it will cost 1000 to buy the clutch and 800 for the Labour.
    Total €1800
Is this a normal price ?
    Thanks

Not sure where you are from, but you could try John Keogh in Donard Wicklow.

What kind of Volvo is it. FH FM FL. 400HP 500HP is it manual or ishift. Seems a little steep for the clutch itself.

I'd say he quoted you for two there. That generation of Volvo had a fairly broad variety of interchangeable parts. Same clutch kit would do any of the fs. 7 10ect. I'd be inclined to shop around.
