Internal Plaster repair

    Hi all,

I'm currently in the middle of renovating a period house with lime plaster on the internal walls. The plaster is loose in places and coming away from the brick wall. The walls in question are internal on both sides so insulation or ability to breathe isn't an issue.
Any suggestions on what plaster/filler to use to patch up the walls. Is it necessary to use lime plaster?

    Thanks!
