I ran the inaugural Newry Half yesterday and have got to say that the organisation of the Newry City Runners was faultless - plenty of water, friendly marshals, great t-shirt and goodies at the end. The course may not be to everyone's liking as it started in Newry and headed out towards Warrenpoint and back, but it is as flat as you are going to get in Ireland and definitely a course to target a PB.

One for next year for those interested.

I ran it too. Really well organised race. I personally had a stinker of a race but I had just flown home from America the day before so I'm putting it down to jet lag. The heat didn't help either.
