    she shoud visit the Community Welfare Officer (CWO) who may be able to provide emergency funds through the Exceptional Needs Payment

    She will be going onto Jobseekers Transition payment. This is pretty much the same as One Parent Family and lasts until the youngest is 14. This is obviously continent that she continues to meet lonely parent criteria.
