Changing name by deed poll

    Hi all,
I'd like advise from someone that is familiar with or gone through a deed poll before.
I'm going through a divorce at the moment and will be changing my surname but I don't want to go back to my maiden name so I have decided to start using my mother's surname.
As my legal name i.e drivers licence, passport, revenue, bank etc is all in either my married name or maiden name I will need to change name by deed poll.
I have looked into it and have ordered and received the 'deed poll legal paper', I've filled in and signed it all 'the deed poll' itself and the 'affidavit of attesting witness' was done in my solicitors office this morning. everything is signed and stamped. I was told that it doesn't have to be enrolled in the high court.
I have gone online to 'revenue', 'passport office', 'drivers licence' etc and regarding name change they all want photo ID of new name change, how is this possible ? how am I meant to get photo ID of name change when they are all looking for the same thing?

The passport office are pickier than others. They want not just a deed poll, but evidence that you have actually be using your new name. So do this one last of all - get your drivers licence, utility bills, etc changed over, and then show hem to demonstrate that you are actually using your new name.
