Hi have a piano on the house with 10 years - last week I noticed a lot of dust under piano and woodworm on piano legs. I have timber floors under piano so I moved it to a room with concrete floor. I asked a guy over the phone about treating it - he said it could cost 2k.

Is this treatable or should I get Piano out of house ASAP ?
If I get woodworm treatment from woodies - treat what I see and put it on DoneDeal & sell cheap/free due to woodworm ? Thks

Treat it and keep it. Now is the time do do it as the larvae would be about to sprout their wings and head off to lay their eggs.
Treat each and every bore hole and it'll be fine.

Id burn it tbh. Its quite likely you wont catch all of them unless its properly treated which costs alot of money.

That stuff will eat your floors, your other furniture and even the roof if it gets upwards.

Woodworm cannot live in dry wood they need dampness to survive, op you may have an underlying problem with damp in the house, or it could be that the piano was pushed back tight to the wall and air could not circulate behind it.
