So booked a little w/end away here will have 3 full days early arrival and late departure. Plan to spend two days strolling around Douglas and seeing stuff. One day we would like to do a day trip there are 3 places I don't know which would be the nicest for the day. Peel, Ramsey or Port Erin. They all look the same distance we would be taking bus. Anyone been to Isle of Man with recommendations. Have flights/acc sorted.

All the options are good for Port Erin id recommend the steam railway to get to it. Buy yourself the go explorer pass at the airport or sea terminal will give you 1 to 3 days https://www.gov.im/categories/travel-traffic-and-motoring/bus-and-rail/go-cards/go-explore/ of unlimited travel. Stop at Castletown on the way and check out Castle Rushen, you can then hop back on a bus or train and head to Port Erin. I wouldn't spend a whole day in Port Erin its a nice town to walk around for maybe a half day.

Just looking at this again to get an idea of distance and time. So we arrive 10.30am into Douglas on a Friday and leave at 17.25 on the Sunday.

How could we plan this out how long does it take to do the Manx museum and look around Douglas? Should we spend all Friday there or go somewhere else? We have a full day Saturday Port Erin or Laxley. I kinda think staying around Douglas would be better on the day we leave so wondering what we should invest the full day in.
