    Looking for an MPV on a budget 4K, doesn’t have to be 7 seater but I came across this caddy life.
    Seems to tick all the boxes big boot etc.

    Would this Have the BXE enGine by any chance?(not familiar st all with VW engines.

    Anything else to look for when I view it?

    The BXE engines were 1.9 not 2.0. That 2.0 would be the more modern common rail unit which generally is reliable but suffers from most modern diesel problems such as worn flywheel, sticking EGR valves, etc.

    As long as you know it's a van derived 7 seater so it's not going to be as comfortable or refined as a car derived 7 seater. Also the seller has a S Max for sale in the breaking section of DD so might be a part time dealer or a scrap dealer. Might give you an idea of what type of cars they are dealing in so something to be wary of.

    Looked at it... clutch really high, body work badly repaired front back and sides... obviously got a rear shunt quarter panels were all filler.
    I liked the space though so I think I’ll keep looking for a good one.
