I personally can't do a Rift session without starting *AND* ending with a few rounds of In Death.

The headshots with the bow and arrow are the most satisfying feeling I've had in any game in my entire life, plus I feel my shoulders get a great workout!

Eleven used to be my goto, but I have an addiction to In Death now.

...and I still haven't managed to complete the first level :D

Yeah? Seemed kinda short to me, rather than something that would pull you back again and again?

Even cheaper today! Just go it, and used up that store credit they sent a while ago when they had an outage.

Will give this a bash at the weekend. :)

Does In Death have free movement properly implemented or is it mostly teleporting around like a goofball?

Free movement, and the teleport is done insanely well. You throw these little bolts to quickly dodge around, or fire specific teleport arrows to jump up on roofs etc.

Then standard movement to sneak up on enemies. It's so intuitive.

That;s a bit like saying "perfectly cooked **** shandwich" :D

You can play the whole game with free movement if you want, but that's like telling the Xman Nightcrawler that he can fight just by walking around.

He'll probably die in a few mins.

It's more like telling Wolverine you've put go faster stripes on Xaviers wheelchair "thanks, but I can actually walk" :D

I just don't care much for the "Hey kids, we've dressed this limitation for people with motion sickness up as a cool core feature" approach. :o
