Boat out of Cork with the young fella

    Asking here rather than Cork forum as I need experienced info.

    Looking to take my 15 yr old son on a sea fishing trip out of Cork. Need a good skipper who would accommodate. Course fishing for years but first time on a boat

    So if anyone can recommend id be grateful

    Have been on a couple of the Cobh boats over the years but can't recall names. Mick Dennehy skippers the Silver Dawn out of Kinsale - excellent boat and really knows his stuff. Further west Tom Collins in Union Hall is another excellent skipper.

    Noel from Cork Tackle Fishing Shop on Shandon St. runs group charters out of Clonakilty at 50EUR per person for a full day of fishing. He provides the rods and reels, you just have to bring any additional tackle equipment (weights, swivels, lures, etc).
