Audi A4 repairs in Dublin area

    sorry for highjacking the thread... just wondering anyone knows a good reliable mechanic familiar with the Audi A4 B8 1.8TFSI engine near Blanchardstown or Clondalkin/Baldonnell area.

    Issues:
    engine fault 2015 manifold air intake and door, not opening (separate issue)

    looking for someone that has an incline for tuning perhaps and can make some recommendations to improve performance perhaps remapping etc...

    Door not opening is a common issue on the B8. Needs a new door lock mechnism around 200euro.

    As for recommendations of a mechanic/tuner in Blanchardstown, i can definitely recommend Greg from Sportchip.ie located in Northwest Business Park

    the lock issue is weird as it closes the door ok... but it won't open it...

    Do you mean it locks the door but doesn’t unlock it? If so then the door lock will be at fault. It’s a very common issue on the B8.
