Hi my partners 01 Micra is on its last legs with differant issues and has 5K to spend on a replacement. She has been looking at the Suzuki Alto 131 reg maybe 141 its a basic enough car. She does very little driving and ideally would like a 1.0L.
    Any taughts?

She would get a Micra 131 for around that budget. Decent cars, my mother has one and its quite a nice drive. I'd stick with Micra once it doesn't matter it's a 1.2

Fuel consumption and tax will still be really low

I bought 141 Suzuki Alto last year for my wife. Great little car and cheap on insurance. My daughter is also insured on it for 320euro till she gets her full license
