Just saw that Red are releasing a phone the Hydrogen One which can record and project holograms. Price is high but it's got holograms so I want it.

Well, not holograms, it uses a more advanced version of the 3D tech found in the 3DS range of consoles from Nintendo.
That is, from a wide range of angles you'll see images in 3D, using an autostereoscopic display.
