Ritchie lamb creep feeder.

I bought an 8' without putting enough thought into it. Now that I have examined it closer I am wondering how to move it around the fields. It does not look strong enough underneath to carry on a bale lifter and it is quite heavy and awkward even empty to move by hand. Have any of you modified them to make them more farmer friendly ? Thanks

Have you a quad or a jeep, I bough a big lug of a creep feeder years ago without thinking of moving it......I put wheels and a removable draw bar on it.

Don't know how heavy duty the ritchie one is, but i modified a couple of these by making a frame for them and sticking on a set of wheels.

you could bolt axles to it at the strongest point either

Ill get pictures this evening.....Im not handy with it so my design had to allow for simple welding!!!

Thanks. The Ritchie has little wheels at the back and a stand on the front which is not designed to make putting a hitch on very easy , but I suppose it is the only option
