What to do with a parcel in limbo?

    Have a parcel going to DPD parcel wizard from Germany. This involved a hand off from DHL DE to its UK affiliate, UKMail. It hit the UK last Thursday afternoon, and I saw a DHL tracking entry telling me of this, but DHL's tracking status was soon updated to, "Due to damage, the shipment could not be delivered and is being withheld for investigation."

    By this point, the tracking status had also furnished me with a UKMail consignment number so that I could track the package on their system as well. On their system, the parcel has a 'Delayed' status and they expect to deliver on the next working day. However, they just keep updating the date of delivery to the next day, e.g. on the 21st the date was the 22nd, and when the 22nd arrived, they move it to the 23rd.

    Meanwhile, the DHL status has updated to "The shipment could not be delivered. A new delivery attempt will take place the next working day." since Friday and I'm not exactly sure what that's supposed to mean.

    I've tried contacting UKMail who told me to talk to DHL - they said UKMail didn't have the parcel yet. And then I contacted DHL who told me to me to contact UKMail - they said it was already handed off, or that it's no longer their problem once the parcel hits the UK.

    So, now I basically don't know what to do.

    EDIT: At the minute, the parcel seems to have disappeared from UKMail's tracking system entirely.

    EDIT 2: Never mind - It was a customs issue.
