Ireland ranked #86 in the world alphabetically. What can be done to improve this?

I was quite shocked when I realised we were so far down the list.

Shouldn't we be contacting our politicians and making our voices heard in this regard? I don't feel comfortable that our European neighbours such as Austria, France and Germany are so much higher than us.

    Correct the spelling to Eireland.

    I blame the Normans.

Annex Albania and treat it as an open prison to which we could send all the feral children etc.

At least we're now listed as Ireland and not the Republic of Ireland. Those were dark days indeed.....

    All Ireland.

Racism is now hiding behind the cloak of Community activism.

I went to school in Ringsend, all the lads pronounce it IRE-LAND. South Dublin middle class kids seem to pronounce it like arrrland and very posh pronounce is like Awhrlund.

Would calling it #Ireland put us at the start or the end of the alphabet?

The ambassador to the UN would support this initiative seeing as he's stuck between Iran and Israel.

Changing the official English language name to Eire would push Ireland up the list quite a bit.
