Should I attend House Survey

    Hi,
I am about to purchase a mid-terraced house and need to have the usual building survey carried out to check that all is OK.  I am thinking that I should also attend to ensure that nothing is overlooked.  But then again the engineer is the professional so he will know what to look for !.  There was nothing of concern when I viewed the house.  What would others advise: leave them to it or better to attend ?

Leave it to him, that's what you're paying him for. Don't be annoying.

Just turn up at the end so that the two of you can do a walk through.

Leave him do the inspection alone so you don't distract him and agree to meet at the end if you wish.

His report will highlight any issues with photographic evidence anyway.
