Because of a certain anime fandom I'm trying to work out what happened to Vodka, a Japanese Thoroughbred filly. After a spectacular racing career she was retired and brought to Ireland in 2010, where she was repeatedly mated to Sea the Stars, producing three foals; the last of them was listed as 2013.

I wonder if she stayed in Ireland or was flown back to Japan at some point. Or is this non-public information?

It's an interesting question.... I'll move your post to the Horse Racing forum as some of the posters there may be able to answer your query a little quicker.

Here is a complete list of Vodka's progeny.

It looks like the horse is being bred from Ireland still, going by its recent pairing with Invincible Spirit, which stands at the Irish National stud.

click the (i) after her name for more information.
you can also click Reports / Progeny on the left to see her foals.
She may have more progeny than listed on pedigreequery.com (see above) as I guess Japanese racegoers would not be updating / entering info on pedigreequery.com.

Unfortunately, my General Stud Books are packed up in a massive plie of cardboard boxes as I am moving so I won't be checking them to see if she has other foals in IRE / GB.
Her foals are probably registered in Japan (JPN) ... not sure about that as I see three are IRE and one is GB.

By the JBIS website, her foals seem to be registered as IE or GB. But the "breeding farm" is listed as "Yuzo Tanimizu", that's a Japanese businessman who owned Vodka even as she was racing. He is mentioned in this article about her retirement https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/japan-s-horse-of-the-year-vodka-forced-to-retire-1.635130

So I guess it's Yuzo Tanimizu keeping her stabled around these isles and perhaps moving her around somewhat? Moreover, from race records it seems that he brings Vodka's offspring back to Japan to race. Tanino Frankel is active there now http://www.jbis.jp/horse/0001228783/record/ but Tanino Frankel also seems to be coming back over to this part of the world for the Epsom Derby? https://www.sportsnewsireland.com/racing/racing_irish/first-entries-for-2018-english-derby-revealed/

Google says Tanimizu is pretty old. Wonder if he may have retired here himself with his horse? Ireland is a pleasant place for a wealthy man to retire.

I would say that the horse is being boarded in Ireland. I don't think it'd make sense to have her flew over and back constantly if she's being covered by Irish stallions. The cost return cost of air travel would be more than the years boarding costs.
