ZV to year plate?

    I know a year reg (83-D-XXXX) can be changed to a ZV, but does anyone know is it possible to go from a ZV to a year plate?

    Off topic sry but can 1987 onward cars that are 30 years old get ZV plates since the new format was introduced in 1987?

    It doesn't make sense to allow ZV plates on '87+ vehicles, but it seems nobody in the relevant department has noticed / cares?!
