Do you think it has reason to come on?
    Does the car overheat?
Is there any light on the dash implying there is a problem?

I'm not to mechanically savvy but I thought when the coolant temperature hits 90℃ the fan comes on, it did overheat once the other morning the car had been parked all night and I drove about 7 miles and it went into red I stopped immediately and opened the bonnet no steam no signs of coolant anywhere so I started it back up and it stayed in the middle it has me puzzled

It could possibly be but the previous owner only changed the thermostat before I bought the car

On that note then I would imagine it could of being a underline problem so. But could also be ur water pump. But then again maybe it’s time for a mechanic. No?

I have a friend that's supposed to be a mechanic and also supposed to be a friend if you get my drift, he seems to think it's the head gasket but from what I can tell its not losing water there's no water in the oil, there is abut of pressure in the overflow tank but from what I've been told of Ford it's a sealed system eg only one way in through the tank and it's also under pressure so abut of air is normal

Oil in the water or dipstick isn’t the only signs of a head gasket going or gone mate. Best have it checked tho with the correct tools so you don’t end up with a big bill
