Semen in eye, how likely for HIV transmission?

I got with a guy Saturday night and I was giving him head and I didn’t let him swallow but he did cum and hit me in the eye.

Because it was a drunken Grindr hookup I’ve been conscious of it and wondering what the chance of transmission is?

Nobody is going to want to google that one for you. I did find lists of the probability of infection through various channels before (mainly surprisingly low for a single exposure); this would be non-standard but I’m sure it’s findable.

We can't provide medical advice here, but from what is known, that would be a very unusual and unlikely point of transmission if there were no cuts.

Well I can tell you that you need be no more concerned about a Grindr hookup than a bar hookup or an encounter with someone you've had your eye on for some time. Sorry for poor choice of words.

    Been there lol
Chances are low as HIV dies off very quickly after exposure to air
Combined with 90% chance the guy does not have HIV then chances very low
So dont worry, but get yourself checked every few months anyway if sexually active :)
