Alternative to Walker Saorview wp-6500ttr PVR

Hi,

The Walker walker wp-6500ttr PVR for Saorview, with full EPG and internal hard-drive, doesn't appear to be on-sale anymore.

I can't seem to find an alternative box which has the internal storage + EPG.
Is there any alternative product which would achieve the same thing?

If you are looking to replace the unit, there is one for sale on adverts.

I recently got a Panasonic DMR-HWT150, it has 7 day epg , 500gb memory, Netflix and YouTube apps. Intended for the English Market, so no Irish apps or series link, recordings can be set manually from the epg.

Well, you could look at the Saorview Connect box, which should have recording in the next month or so for both Saorview and satellite - but no EPG for satellite. It will have series link for Saorview, so that is good. It has the RTE Player built in, so hat should be good (if it works). It has a satellite tuner so that should be good.

Whether it turns out to be good has yet to be confirmed.

I seen the Walker recorder for sale in Redmonds electric Gorey on Friday, you might get them online from the shop also.
