    Anyone any idea why my wall is flaking see photos

    Definitely moisture either in the wall , coming up from the ground or high moisture in the air. Is the heating on regularly any leaks ?

    There is a shower the other side of the wall but fully tiled from top to bottom.

    A leak somewhere I would guess if it's just that one part of the wall. Check for small cracks or discoloration on the tiles , pipes and floor . Put up some more pictures might help.
