Nct fail coil spring damaged

    Lads any idea what cost is involved in replacing offside front suspension coil spring....cheers....its a peugeot 307...

    Just wanted to get some insights if its a major fix...

    New spring should be around 60-70 euro. About an hours labour or less to fit it at a guess, not a major fix.
    Should be 130 euro or less all in at an independent garage.

    Usually best to replace both springs on the same axle at the same time. The other side might not be broken yet, but it is the same age as the broken side so it's reasonable to assume that it could fail soon. And one fresh spring, and one old on the same axle could affect the handling of the car.

    Passed today...just replaced one side as garage told me other was in sound shape...suspension test gave same results as last time...thanks for all the inputs..
