Retro movies channel

So I have noticed on the en.kingofsat.net recent updates page that a new channel (Retro movies channel) has replaced the Nollywood Channel.

I watched a few films on it. It is not a bad channel, kind of like Talking Pictures TV, but it has no website or TV listings whatsoever, and there is very little info about it online.

I hope they sort themselves out.

Anyone notice this channel, or hear anything about it?

There was some debate on Digital Spy that it was merely a placeholder for the EPG slot. Others think someone noticed the success of Talking Pictures and decided they wanted a piece of the action

It's like TP but without the budget or ambition. Looks like a placeholder trying to catch a few retro film buffs.

Speaking of channels - Vintage TV has left freesat and is now FTA, look for Takbeer TV in the FTA channel list.

What has Takbeer got to do with Vintage TV? .... except they are on the same transponder?

    Confused.

When I did the scan for the transponder, Vintage didn't show so was confused, then today I scrolled through the FTA channels and Vintage was showing but with Takbeer on the EPG list. Odd.
