So I have a Stuart pump for my shower. Can anyone recommend somewhere to get it fixed within the Dublin area? Thanks.

Humming and won’t turn. A good shake often gets it going. Could be the capacitor.

    FYI:
Shower pump fixed thanks to replacement parts purchased from www.domestic pumps.ie

I purchased a replacement capacitor from them for around €10 and motherboard for €50. I knew it was one or the other, turned out to be the capacitor. A lot cheaper than replacing the pump.

They sell pump new and reconditioned pumps too as well as promising to fix pumps brought into their workshop within 45 minutes.

I have a ST Monsoon pump that wasn't working well.

Sent it up to www.appliancecare.ie who fixed it. It's now better than ever, and with a new sound absorbtion mat it's much quieter too.

I got a new starting capacitor, new pcb, and a new reed switch and wiring. Everything else given a thorough once over and new seals/gaskets fitted as precautionary maintenance.

When refitted one of the seals didn't seat properly, but they had a new set rushed down and then all was well.

Delighted with the results, and the power from the shower. It rocks!
