I am playing Blainroe tomorrow with my society, I have'nt played there in a number of years'. I think its a gem of a course, especially when the sun is shining, and good forecast for tomorrow!
Just wondering if anyone has played it recently and their thoughts on it?

It is an amazing course, played it this winter and as all courses was a bit soft, but not too much given the amount of rain. Definitely one of my favourites in the area, and I don't like parklands too much

Will be gorgeous tomorrow with the weather!

Played it the other day and it's in great condition. Only thing I will say is that the greens are inconsistent and hard to read depending on the grain.

Played it last month and the course was in great nick. Suns to make an appearance tomorrow so should make for a good day of golf. Enjoy

Nice track, I was just a little let down by some "up and down" holes, think 11-13, I just have a distaste for straight holes parallel to each other. That short par 3 17th is a little gem, don't need 200yards par 3's to make them good.

The 14th is probably the most scenic as its hanging off the cliff

It's a fairly daunting tee shot alright!

Blainroe did'nt dissapoint - Even though my scorecard would suggest otherwise :), Greens where like lighting and in top condition, along with fairways and bunkers! I would suggest anyone who has not played it recently to get down there and give it a blast !
