If a contractor sets up a company and the company conducts work for one client is it possible for Revenue to look through the company?
In other words does simply forming a company avoid the problem of an employer/employee relationship being imposed for tax purposes.

Most of the best paid presenters at RTÉ have been getting away with it for years. I'd imagine there'd be something googleable that'd say how they did it.

Good question, certainly in the IT world it's not the norm and normally there is an agency in between for this very reason. Although I know of exceptions
