An appeal was lodged with An Bord Pleanála but, due to clerical errors, they failed to notify the council for 2 weeks. The council sent out notifications to the original objectors which were received thereafter. This left under 2 weeks for people to submit observations instead of the proscribed 4 weeks. Is there a way to extend this legally or has it ever been challenged does anyone know? It leaves a very limited time period for someone to object to a huge appeal.
