Hi. O.p. as per your post ..once over 6 months old and over 6k km. All should be fine once you can show to revenue here that you paid the vat when purchasing in uk.. also make sure to calculate the vrt correctly. And have v5. And ferry receipt to prove when car entered republic..also you have 30 days to present &pay vrt but only 1 week at start to make the vrt booking
