If I were to float the idea of "opt in" or even forced sterilisation in extreme cases (repeat criminal junkie unable to care properly for self) I would be lynched by the mob as a ultra right wing Dr. Mengele type Nutjob yet the benefits of the practice to society would be genuine positive.

Yet on the other hand the same types that would shout me down as nuts are I would guess the most likely to be yes voters in the 8th ref which is "stopping" the life of an unborn child, the exact same thing, surely!

I'm not some religious pro-lifer before that honour is mistakenly bestowed on me........all in favour say aye......

Yeah I must be crazy drunk, maybe I'll do something more sensible and get into the abortion business, a much more refined place.

People do "opt in" all the time. I think it might be the forced part that some people may have a bit of an issue with ya mentalist

Yes, forced sterilisation of a let's say a HIV positive homeless junkie who has racked up 100+ criminal convictions, you think that would be wrong?

Funny I'm a mentalist but abortion is sanity. Two sides of the same coin, or same goal at least.

isn't the 8th thread not enough for these type of posts?

anyway op i'd be voting no . i don't agree with forced sterilisation.

I'm very highly educated. I know words, i have the best words, nobody has better words then me.

I would think they are. Stopping a child being born due to (in majority of cases) socio-economic reasons. How are they different?
