Light for Power switch to cooker won't go off

    Hi ,

    Here's one for you ;

    The switch in the wall that controls power to the cooker(not a switch on the cooker) has a red light that turns on when the switch is in the on position.

    Today for some reason the light stays lit even when the switch is in the off although the red light is a bit more faded than when in the on .

    However the light will turn off if you try to use any of the hobs or oven on the cooker when the switch is in the off position and as expected the cooker does not create heat or light up with the switch in the off position .

    When in the on position everything works as normal .

    Is it a fault with the light ?

    Is it a warning to replace a bulb ?

    Anything to worry about ?

    Sparky time ? (call an electrician?)
