    Hi there,

I'm going to a show in the Gaiety but have never been there before so a little unsure of the best way to get there.

Will likely be getting a train into Heuston and travelling to the Gaiety from there, is it best to get the Luas to Stephens Green from there, or even possible? I presume it requires changing lines on the Luas?

Going home probably getting a City Link bus from Aston Quay, this seems to be about a 12 minute walk from the Gaiety, so is it handiest just to walk, or any other modes of transport from the Gaiety to Aston Quay, besides the obvious taxi that is?

Any info or help at all would be greatly appreciated please, from you knowledgeable locals! :D

    Thanks!

The Hueston LUAS doesn't go to Stephen's Green... options aren't perfect on public transport - as in you will have a 10-15 minute walk on one side or the other.

    Multiple imperfect options here...

Get the 145 to Kildare Street from outside Heuston Station - maybe check if your train ticket has a City Centre add-on. Don't bother with Luas it will take longer.
Walking from Gaiety to Aston Quay is easiest option really.

Do you have much time to kill, OP?

If so, I'd probably get the Luas to Jervis and walk more or less straight south with perhaps a stop or two for drinks/food on the way

1km walk according to Google - does that link work??

LUAS to Abbey Street, walk round corner, LUAS from Marlborough St to Stephen's green.
