Hi all. Hope this is the right place to ask if anyone knows the names of the three wildflowers in these pictures?
I'm a nature novice I'm afraid!

Not sure if this helps, but just in case...

If you want to add an attachment, this is how you do it from a computer on the legacy site - I think if you do it from a mobile the procedure may vary.

If you click on 'Go Advanced' instead of 'Quick reply', it'll open up a screen with way more icons/shortcuts. Click on the paperclip, this will open a pop-up window. Select your file, scroll to the right and click on 'Upload'. The uploaded file will appear just above the 'Attachment key' heading. Close the pop-up window, and save your thread. The picture will appear as an attachment, as long as it's within the allowed size limits.

If you also want to embed it as a picture, then you attach the file as above, then when you click on it and it'll open up in a new window with a Boards URL; copy that URL, click on the 'landscape/picture icon' (the one that looks like a yellowy sky with the grey mountain and the sun in the corner) in the post you're writing, paste your URL in the box, and save (or type (without the space), paste the URL, and type

(without the space), paste the URL, and type

(without the space) just after it. Post it and Bob's your uncle. This works with URLs of images you've copied from the internet.

http://www.wildflowersofireland.net Is a great site to help with the identification of flowers. Zoe's book is also well worth getting for bringing with you on a walk.

Looks like Pink Purslane or possibly Little-Robin. Pretty little flowers I see them around here too.

i'd have said herb robert. quite common, and it looks the part.

It's probably a case like Queen Anne's Lace/Cow Parsley.

just checked wildflowers of ireland: "Little-Robin is a very rare species which is only found occasionally growing in the South and South-east."

Yes it's Herb Robert - (getting Robin and Robert mixed up) another geranium type isn't it?

Purple one is Vetch, related to the Pea and the white one could be White Campion, but I'm only guessing!.....

There is now a positive epidemic of wild forgetmenot... I have never lived anywhere like here for wild flowers. More orchids than daisies...

Hesh; Your utter enthusiasm and thirst for knowledge does it, for me.

I've long been wondering what to do with this superb Field Guide ~ now that I have no further use for it. It's in perfectly good condition.
