issue with recurring 503s /app pool on personal site

    Howdy everyone :)

    I'm looking for some pointers to try resolve a now monthly problem with my personal blog.

    The site is constantly hitting errors so much that it forces an issue with the app pool which is only resolved by contacting the company hosting the site to restart the app pool.

    I don't have any web dev skills and not able to get any direction thus far of what to do to resolve the issue.

    It's a hosted site running Wordpress on a Windows server.

    Any help would be much appreciated :)

    You're not giving us anything to go on besides the fact that your site sometimes stops working.

    What technology is it based on? What language? What server is hosting it? Do you have error logs? If so, what do they say? Do you know what exception is occuring?

    You say it only started happening a month ago - were any changes made to the server or application around that time?

    That's correct.

    When I got blacknight to resolve the issue they had me turn on WP_Debug.

    The most recent data in the debug.log file (not sure if this is the error log you need. let me know it's the wrong one) is:

    The last error was logged when I tried to re-install latest Wordpress via the Wordpress dashboard on the site.

    I don't do any customizing of code of wordpress or the themes. I just try keep them up to date as the new updates appear.

    As you have WP_DEBUG enabled you can also install the Query Monitor plugin. It should be able to give you the call stack to see what function called the ones that are reporting the error.

    What plugins are you running? (I didn't see any in the home page source code)
    You could reinstall WordPress from the dashboard on the tiny off chance that a file is corrupted.

    Indicates that in this class / file its trying to access a property on an object and the object doesn't exist. If you've been using it via the ui tool then chances are its an issue with a plugin that's not working correctly / not installed fully.

    Reads like a database connection timeout, but that wouldn't cause it to fall over to the extent that you're experiencing
