What the current price for Pallet Wood/Pulp wood. Have been quoted 20e per t/4e per t respectively and it just seems very low.
    Anyone thin recently for comparison?

Pallet is making good money at the moment delivered into the mills and has risen a couple of euros in recent months.
Seems the prices you were quoted are mill delivered prices take away the haulage and take away the harvesting cost and €20 / €4 is what your left with.
Is there any possibility of cutting some stakes? It would cut down on your pulp wood and would be worth a few bob more depending on tree species.
The timber price really depends on where in the country your based. Haulage over long distances can really kill the price you get for your 1st and 2nd thinnings depending where you are.

I have seen quotes of €25 euro for pallet in killenny where im from but down in north kerry it could 18 - 19 euro for 1st thinning pallet.
