    Hi,

I am getting swimming lessons every week but would like to know whats the best way to practice on my own ? I generally just go to the pool and practice my front crawl until I get tired then practice the backstroke or breaststroke. Has anyone got a more structured approach I could take ?

Ask your instructor what drills will help. It will be best to be doing stuff that ties in with the lessons.
