A family member's clutch has gone on their 2010 Peugeot 5008 this evening.

They say it just wont go into gear. They had been having trouble with selecting 1st and 2nd gear recently but a gearbox oil change seemed to have completely solved it.

Assuming its the clutch, how much would they be looking at?
Also, does it have a DMF and should that be replaced to?

    Regards.

Just to update for anyone in the future.

They ended up getting the clutch done for €450.
Mechanic said the flywheel was ok.....it is very low mileage.

Always more cost effective in the long run in terms of labour, to replace the flywheel at the same time as the clutch as you already have the gearbox out.

But if the flywheel seems ok and mileage is low, I would kept the flywheel. The labour is around 250, flywheel probably around 600...
