Hi all, hope i'm on the right board, appologies if not.
i have a lenovo ideapad 110,the start button and the speaker button have stopped working for some reason,i'm not too pushed about the speakers but i can't access my pictures with the start button. as photography is a hobby of mine, getting access to my photo's is important. i've googled the problem but the answers are a bit baffling to a not very techy oldy.
is there a quick and easy answer,or will i have to take it to a repair shop?

    cheers.

Do you mean the start button on the screen?

Can you not just use the mouse to open your picture software

Or press the windows key and type pictures or photos into the search bar

Go onto your home screen(Desktop) and press TAB button and you can highlight it then press enter or left click. It's temporary but it works.

Another way is press Ctrl+Shift+ESC (CTRL+ALT+DEL) to display the task manger, and press ALT+F then N for new task and type explorer.exe

Thanks all,i think it's been solved,a poster on a different site advised me to reset my laptop, which I did and all is working again.some apps disappeared when I did this but were easy enough to find again.

    thanks again,regards.
