Only had a very quick look at a couple of models, but at first glance, I think they look pretty smart - some unique touches. They do look quite pricey for the movements that are used in the models I looked at, so I'd be expecting a very good finish to justify it. They kinda strike me as the type of brand that you only buy at sale prices. Edit: link - https://www.march-lab.com/en/

    Welcome to boards, Don19 :)

A French watch for over a grand with a Japanese MIYOTA 9015 movement? If you like it, sure go for it. But I would expect the second hand value of it to be very poor. If you plan never to sell it on, that doesn't matter of course!

For that money there is a choice of Swiss watches with Swiss movements.

Thanks. I was looking at tag Heuer Monaco and these ads for March watches started popping up. Maybe it's something to do with square shape ?.

I spent ages looking for an alternative to the Monaco, but never found much that interested me.

    Tissot maybe? https://www.ebay.ie/itm/TISSOT-Le-Locle-Automatic-stainless-steel-Square-Mens-watch/183146780174?hash=item2aa466160e:g:DHgAAOSwYgFat-fH

I you are looking at a Monaco, then buy a Monaco! They do come up in adverts.ie, etc. from time to time and aren't an awful lot more expensive second hand than the above watches you are looking at

And they are a classic at this stage and will keep their value really well. Jesse giving one to Walt really helped there :p
