New Ford warranty query

Hi, I'm interested in your views regarding the ford extended warranty you can buy for €200+vat. A new ford comes with a 3 yr warranty but is it prudent to pay another 200 quid for their 7 yr warranty or 100,000 km ...
do they have stipulations like the yearly device must be carried out in a main dealer etc. Just trying to figure out if it's worth it .
    Thanks

It depends on your mileage useage really as 7 years is great to get manufacturer level coverage but 100k kms isn't much. If you think you'll have covered 100k kms in less than 4 years then it's probably not for you but if you are a low mileage user it's good value for money. If the only stipulation is you have to get one oil change a year from Ford it's not really bad as that's probably no harm anyway.

When I bought my Mondeo last august I got 7 years and 160k kms warranty with it.
Who told you that you must pay for anything over 3 years?
Standard ford is 7 now.as far as I am aware!

Might be a commercial vehicle, seeing as VAT is mentioned.
