lg oled c6 rte player problem

hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have a lg oled c6 and yesterday downloaded the rte player, it doesn't show any live channels though, only catch up, is this correct? i obviously have live channels available on my phone and tablet, so wondering if its a restriction or app error
