    Hi,

One of big gas companies gives free gas boiler for lpg if you join them.

I'm wondering why most people in rural areas go for oil and not put in a gas tank?

Im on a tight budget so free boiler is appealing or is it too good to be true :-)

    Thanks

Edited to say its a new build and if I go oil or gas Ill have to add solar thermal or PV.

BER was done on basis of gas and PV panels but I'm wondering if oil might be better option as not many people seem to be opting for gas lpg :-)

Well you'd have to pay a monthly rental for this offers . It's quite expensive and your locked in. No other providers can fill your tank at all.

Nothing in life is free .

It would nearly be better getting your own tank and having a pick off providers depending on your location
