Now try and not get into the debate of when Summer begins. Hopefully the weather will be good.
I haven't much on this Summer but I'm looking forward to getting the eighth amendment and it's thread out of the way!

What are you looking forward to for the Summer of 2018?

Among other things, driving to and from work in brightness and (hopefully) sunshine, instead of darkness and driving rain!!

im looking forward to deciding at work around lunch time, with a clear blue sky, to have a bar-b-q that evening, calling into Tesco and getting my meats and beers on the way home, rooting in the shed for bar-b-q, wiping miscellaneous animals' encrusted sh1t, grease and fat from the bar-b-q, getting it hot enough just as it starts to rain, and the kids going, "ya dad, give us a shout when the burgers are ready, we're going in out of it".

Also looking forward to being instructed to inflate the paddling pool for the kids, rooting in the shed again, pulling it out of the box, looking for the missing valve seal under the lawnmower and shovels, spending 30mins inflating it, 15mins patching a hole, another 30mins inflating, another 30mins filling it, then covering the kids in sun cream, before spending 5mins watching the kids splashing about in it before hypothermia starts to set in, taking them out and drying them off. Emptying the water, deflating it, drying it and putting it away in the box for another year.

Decent weather, the garden thriving, lots of decent fishing, a trip to Italy, family home from the US and the health to enjoy it all.

My first island summer. Looking forward to quiet weeks, bird and seal watching ( being given binoculars next week), to growing flowers... above all to heal from many years of stress and being overstretched.

Just a quiet summer. Just that, and putting deeper roots down here. Bliss

Anyways, I'm looking forward to doing the July provision - while I'll be studying for the Leaving Cert in advance, I won't be neglecting fun activities.

World cup and new job. Generally dreading summer though, as I do every year, due to unbearable levels of antisocial behaviour. Hopefully the new job is the key to finally getting away from this nightmare though.

Liam Gallagher. Camping in France. Wedding in Madeira. Trying to figure out how to cheaply insulate my conservatory roof. It’s like an oven in there.

The smell of freshly cut grass, the general sense of community with barbeques and beer coolers, a nice cool pint of cider in a beer garden, plenty of sporting occasions at all levels, music festivals and open-air concerts, scrotey birds with their bellybuttons out

Lots of camping, bbqs, being able to wear sandals and dresses, my uncle usually has a big super bbq party some time in June and a few other celebrations with family and friends.

I'd love to go camping in the South of France but putting it off til next year at least.

Also looking forward to Foil Arms and Hog in June.

That's it really, other than being outdoors in the sunshine with the kids!

A heads up for anyone that hasn't got their Bill Burr tickets yet, TM just put up some Row 3 and 4 tickets, they won't last long, next best is Row 50 or close which means your seats will be somewhere around Irishtown.
