Fablon for kitchen presses?

    Hi,

    My parents are looking at getting an extension on the kitchen and knocking the wall between the kitchen and back room to make an open plan kitchen/dining space. At the moment, they have a cream high gloss kitchen that doesn't need replacing. I was having a look around to see if we could paint them but I saw that some people used fablon to cover the presses and change the look of the kitchen. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with using this. How durable is it and how easy is it to apply?
