Aoife is an Irish citizen who wishes to move from Ireland (her home state) to Germany (host state of European Union) to live and work there. She wishes to bring her family with her.

She has a spouse, who is not a European citizen and 3 children whom are all of school age and a dependent mother who lives with her in Ireland.

Advise Aoife as to her right and her families rights to move to and live in the host state and their right to remain there?

Am I correct in thinking this concerns citzenship and directive 2004/38/EC?

    There are different rights here.

    Not exclusively.

Sounds more like an exam/essay question than a genuine query.
