Gas craic if you ask me - much more fun than that dour Patrick Stewart.

And that David Attenborough fella must be extremely envious of all the places he's been.

Edit: The Patrick Stewart thread has been vaporised - I set phaser to max.

He had to remind a bunch of Trekkie Heads at a Star Trek convention that Star Trek was a TV programme.

His album with his version of Common People is surprisingly good, and he's the big giant head in 3rd Rock from the Sun.

But you ****er, I thought he was dead when I saw the thread.

That's what I like about him. That Stewart takes himself far to seriously.

At least those are real. He had to remind the Trekkie Heads that Star Trek isn't.

It's good alright... but I think a lot of its appeal is that the lyrics are much easier to make out, and you realise they're very good lyrics.

Yes exactly, if my thread doesn't come across as a piss take of that then I must be doing something wrong.

A company I worked for years ago wanted to hire Shatner for a gig at the Christmas party.

He was asking for insane money, this company was throwing money around at the time but they even baulked at what Shatner wanted for 30 minutes of self flagulation.

They beamed it up because they needed the swimming pool to put a whale in it to save the earth in the future and they needed the wife to make it all look pretty.

    I know my Star Trek.
