Any suggestions for a easy/temp solution to blocking the sun from a window?

This is driving me nuts and I need some suggestions of how to fix? My computer workstation is in front of a big window. In the evening the sun shines directly in - it has a blind on it but it's very thin and does not block much light - so I have to squint. Without replacing the blind to a blackout blind - can anyone suggest a way i can easily get something temporary to block part of the window so i dont get blinded?

Get someone to stand blocking the sun or throw a blanket/duvet cover over the blinds if no one is willing to stand.

A black A2 size poster card from a school supplies shop,,clipped to the blind when needed? Or a piece of black fabric clipped to the blind .

One of those things you use in a car to keep sun off a baby. Just stick to the window.

You can get blackout blinds with suction cups in baby shops. Stick directly on the glass.

Washing up liquid on the glass, spread really thin, then a flat sheet of tin foil.

Look terrible, work well ;-)
