Hi everyone, I'm thinking of making a nice picnic table for myself. I'm going to make the frame from stainless steel as thats the business I'm in and it's what I'm used to working with. I'm looking for wood for the table and seat tops. I'm hoping for a 3 inch thick top either in 4 or 8 inch wide planks or maybe it's possible to get it in one piece 2meters by 750mm wide? I'm not quite sure what's available which is why I'm asking the experts.
For the seat I need something 8inches wide by 2inches thick.
Anyone have any ideas for materials and where to get them in the cork/limerick area or online.
